The service consists of two parts, Registration and the Lost and Found Service. Customers must ensure that their details and the details of their pet are registered with Keepsafe. Once the Registration has been properly completed, the customer may place the Keepsafe tag on their pet’s collar. Personally engraved tags may not be used and may result in the pet not being reunited with the owner.
2. Registration Period
Keepsafe will hold the registered details until notified by the customer that they wish to be removed from our database. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the correct payment is made to Keepsafe at the correct time in order to ensure continuity of service. Keepsafe will not be responsible for the failure of the registration to be renewed due to the payment not being made correctly.
Lifetime membership covers the life of the pet, not the owner, and cannot be transferred from one pet to another. Customers with transferable membership may only transfer the membership to a new pet once and will receive a new certificate, which supersedes the old one. There is an administration fee for transferring the membership to a new pet.
To obtain a refund of your initial registration charge for the pet reunification service, you must return your pet tag to Keepsafe Tracking Ltd, 4 Station Court, Station Road, Great Shelford, Cambridge, CB22 5NE, within 28 days of purchase. For tags returned within 28 days of purchase, you are entitled to a 100% refund. For tags returned after 28 days of purchase, you will not be entitled to a refund.

You may request a replacement tag from Keepsafe if you lose your original tag, or it becomes unusable for any reason. Keepsafe will supply a replacement tag and make a charge of £7.92 for the tag, administration, and post & packaging.
